Events

Following an in-depth discussion on type of programmes/ activities, CAAN although legally NGO, it should not over engage itself in the projects at the expense of knowledge/ Skills Sharing, which is the core mission of the association. Network should undertake projects and activities in which it has comparative advantage and competencies. The knowledge, research and the capacity building oriented activities best suit the network.

CAAN has organized following key events:

TALK PROGRAMME ON WEALTH CREATION:

The thematic talk talk-on-wealth-creation-5on wealth creation was organized on 2nd February, 2013. There were two eminent speakers respectively i) Mr. Mahabir Pun and ii) Mrs. Asha Gurung. Mr. Pun is the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Awardee and known social entrepreneur where as Mrs. Asha Gurung is the treasurer of Nepal Mountaineering Association and successful hotelier. Around 80 people from different walks of life attended the talk Programme.

 

 

WELCOMING  CHEVENING SCHOLAR:

CAAN  welcomes new Chevening scholar when they return from UK after successfully completing their masters degree. CAAN thinks that welcoming in the alumni is very important event so new scholars find the Chevening community there to be associated and a part of extended professional family.

CAAN EXTENDED EXECUTIVE MEETING :

Executive committee members and some active members somehow take time out to meet and greet with each other amidst of busy professional schedule. Such meeting will deepen the relationship and also provide the platform to keep network going.
